Stained Glass
Stained Glass Bellydancer
The Logo you see in the top left corner is something I created myself. I started with a photo of a friend who was kind enough to pose with one of my first veils. I traced the image and created a line-drawing that could be scaled to make a nice veil Logo. My husband and I came up with the final design for the Logo you now see at the top left.
After looking at the original photo, my husband told me he wanted to try to make me a stained glass business card holder in the image of my new Logo. (We both work in stained glass as a hobby, although he has more time for it than I do, now that my business is up and running.) Below are the original photo and an image of the business card holder he made me. It turned out quite well and dancers who know my friend, Andi, can recognize her just from her stance in the stained glass piece. We now take it with us whenever we go on vending trips to hold my business cards.

People we meet at seminars and events have asked if the business card holder
is for sale also. Sorry, but it's my one-of-a-kind Logo and display piece. My
husband did make another stained glass dancer using a picture he took
of local Atlanta dancer, Asha, at the RedLight Cafe. Included above are that
picture, a template made from that picture, an image of the end result glass
item, and an image of the drawing we held for it earlier this year. We had our
friend Aya pull a name out of the fish-bowl of all our newsletter subscribers.
A dancer and instructor from Jacksonville, Florida was the lucky winner!
My husband tells me he plans to make some more stained glass dancers to sell as sun-catchers and business card holders. We plan to offer them in the $50 to $60 range, depending on the size and amount of detail.
Are you interested in having your picture or Logo turned into a unique stained glass item or business card holder? Send us your picture for review by and we'll let you know if the image is suitable and give you an estimate.
